Mad respect to the guys that shoot Superpipe contests and shoot them well.  This was my first time seeing much less shooting this event and man it’s a struggle.  From the super tight confines of the media pens to the rock hard ice of the pipe deck it’s a battle.  Add in the random nature of where the riders exit the pipe,  shooting after dark and a crowd of 14,000 plus pushing and shoving to get closer to the fence and it’s a knock down drag out fight of an affair.  Nevertheless the show these athletes put on is truly spectacular.
