Bluebee

Sat / Sun storm dropped a foot of fluff up LCC but the wind had it’s way with just about every damn flake.  The skies cleared, the sun shown and Andy Sabatier and I caught first tram at the Bird in hopes of rooting out any refugees from the gale.  A fast lap waaaaay out in the bookends yielded little hope but The Road to Provo rope drop provided creamy wind affected goodness.

We poked around looking for a gate to open but were shut down at every corner.  The kicker was the Tiger Tail gate being closed and we resigned ourselves to beer 30 lounging in the Mid Gad sun.  It did not suck.

Just in the nick of beforehand (read before round 2) word came in that Tiger Tail was a go.  We went.  North facing trees held lots of love and Andy succeeded in completely plastering me with snow.  It was cold…and wet, which felt good seeing that temps were now hovering in the mid 40′s.  Whatever, the camera needed a good cleaning anyway.

The next frame is just white as the lens was coated in a perfect layer of damp pow. I totally should have taken a picture of it.
