Dew Tour SLC ~ Day 2

This is a super quick post while the cards are dumping images onto the DroboS as it’s almost time to head out again for Day 3.  Filled 6 16 GB cards on day 2 so it’ll be a bit before I can do a proper edit.  Quite a bit of indoor shooting as Skate and BMX Vert were in effect.  Really pushing the limits of what the cameras are capable of here with ISO’s pushed up into the 1250 -1600 range to enable shutter speeds that can freeze action.  2 years ago there was no way I could have shot this event with only ambient light.  Canon 1dmk4 makes it possible. These are clean, rich, quality images shot at ISO’s that were until recently considered useless or desperate settings on most cameras.  It’s pretty crazy to think what will be possible with the next batch of sensor upgrades.
