The Winter 10/11 issue of Kootenay Mountain Culture just shipped and I’m so stoked to have been able to contribute a few images to Mitchell Scott’s tale of the 2010 Red Bull Cold Rush at Retallack, BC. Having spent over a decade now traveling in the Kootenay’s, the region, Nelson and Retallack in particular, have a very special place in my heart.  Without them this epic adventure into photography would never have happened and the success that I am starting to find would have been much longer in coming if it ever came at all.  In fact so much of my “A grade” imagery has sprung forth from this region that it has surprised more than on editor that I don’t live in BC.  As such, being tapped to contribute to the regions stellar mountain culture magazine is a real dream come true.  I’ve actually been a subscriber to what is in fact a free publication for several years now.  I think this image sale might just break me even on my subscription fees.   So much thanks to the KMC family, keep on keepin’ on with the epic story telling.
