Powder Bubble

17 1/2 hours of driving with over 400 miles of snowpacked roads and a complete tossing of the truck at the border had me back in the powder bubble that is Retallack late Thursday night just in time to catch Karl the Gnarl’s daily ode and grab a late plate of an epic dinner at the lodge.  Life in the snowglobe is always good and only made better knowing there two weeks of it laying in front of me.  I rallied up here to do some work with the Provo Bros., Tanner Hall and John Spriggs.  Tanner is still working out the kinks in his new knees and this means listening to his body and allowing it to over ride the desire to shred.

As such, even though Friday went as blue as blue can get the boys were on a down day to let the bodies rest.  Not one to pass up a sunny day and deep turns I jumped in a client cat and tagged along for the ride.  Shot a few pics and shared in the uber stoke, enjoying a reality check that only a less jaded perspective can dish out.  Great times shredding endless pow under clear skies were had by all.  It was really nice to not have an agenda and for the most part just get to enjoy the day for what it was…absolutely glorious.
